Where Are Things At?
With the pilot episode of The Seventh Sea releasing in just over 2 months, how is it looking?
Well, first and foremost is how much of the content has animation and backgrounds, and how much still needs to be completed. The answer is about 85/100 done (rough estimate).
With that in mind, there is also sound effects, mixing, final scoring, compositing, and editing to do afterward. With the project having been in production since December 22nd, 2024, it seems like completing the remaining 15% in less than 2 months isn’t possible. That is, however, ignoring the fact that I am now doing this full-time (at least until the episode is out). That means I can get significantly more done now than I did for the vast majority of earlier production.
This deadline will be met, and the episode will go out as planned. The two goals until then are to 1. ensure the episode is the best it can be, and 2. promote it as best as I can.
As long as I do everything in my power to make this work, The Seventh Sea has a solid chance to succeed.
